Our company undertook the complete electrical installation of three residences, including the installation, programming and commissioning of satellite systems, structured cabling network, Generating Set (Generator), Uninterruptible Power Supply Unit (UPS), Pump Station control system and Automation system EIB/KNX.
The satellite TV system is configured so that it is possible to watch different satellite channels in each room, using different set-top boxes.
The structured cabling network is configured so that at any time any data socket can be converted into a telephone or computer network. There is an installed scaffolding (RACK) with all the necessary equipment for Internet and telephone distribution (Call Centre) in each room.
The three residences are connected to each other by a central rack, enabling the interconnection of networks and telephones.
The genset (generator) with automatic switching is automatically activated by a power supply interruption from the PPC or the detection of an unsuitable voltage due to a technical problem of the PPC. It requires no handling by the owner and is activated within 30 seconds. It protects the electrical network of the dwelling and supplies electricity to the E/Z panels. The generating set covers the needs of all three houses for all their loads.
The uninterruptible power supply unit supplies all sensitive electronic devices, such as PCs, CDs, DVDs, Hi-Fis, TVs, etc., with a normalized electrical load, so that they are protected in case of overvoltage or sudden interruption and restoration of the power supply.
LOGO automation system, which is interfaced with the EIB/KNX system, controls all the automation of the Pumping Station, drilling (2 Inverters), drinking water tank, irrigation tank, rainwater tank and water treated by Biological Purification.
The EIB/KNX automation system controls all interior and exterior lighting, shutters/blinds and heating/cooling of the house.
The control is done with system switches that are fully programmable, giving the possibility to select the operation of each button according to the owner’s needs. Each switch button has the ability to manage either roll/roll, On/Off lighting, Dim/Bright lighting, centralized lighting or roll functions.
The heating/cooling is controlled by thermostats of the system, giving the possibility to control any type of heating/cooling. Temperature control is carried out locally for each room or for the whole house, maximising energy savings with Comfort/Standby/Night/Frost mode
For central control and supervision, touch screens have been installed on each level, enabling operation with scripts, schedules, logic and sensors.
For the central control and the remote control of the house, a visualization system has been installed and programmed, giving the possibility to control all three residences and the common areas via PC, iphone, ipad and smartphone. The owner has the ability to connect to his home via Internet, from anywhere in the world and check the status of any fixture, shutter, thermostat and device integrated in the automation system.
The ability to control the temperature of the swimming pool, the temperature of each thermostat and the sending of new heating requirement values for each room, the simulation of movement and operation of the house while we are not there, the activation of all the lighting of the house in case of an alarm, the control of daily energy consumption, temperature-humidity-brightness-air measurements and many applications that save energy and facilitate the control and supervision of our home are now possible.
