Makedonia Palace Hotel has a very extensive central control system for lighting, air conditioning and electric blinds/curtains with EIB/CNX technology, which makes their control and management a simple game in the hands of the operator. Includes all public and external lighting.
The public and outdoor areas of the hotel are interconnected by a bus network, enabling the control of the entire hotel from a central point. Over 1000 control points make up the entire hotel, with lighting scenarios shaping the desired atmosphere of each room at the touch of a button or the command of a timer or sensors transmitting brightness information. In this way, a constant and uniform lighting is achieved based on the architect’s instructions and only certain staff members are allowed to intervene in the lighting.
The restaurant areas, bar, roof garden and all event rooms are controlled locally from small 16-command LCD screens, also having programmed lighting scenarios for the user’s convenience.
The building is controlled by 1 touch screen, giving the possibility of central control of the whole building, but also of the individual spaces separately, with scenarios such as “Evening”, “Suroupo”, “Romantic” etc.
The integrated control of the hotel achieves significant energy savings and facilitates the control and proper operation of all systems to achieve the best possible result.
