The offices of the new building of the Central Macedonia Region are controlled through central KNX commands and local sensors for brightness, temperature and presence of people.
In this way, the maximum functionality of each room is achieved while saving energy.
Every office space has brightness sensors that adjust the desired level of lighting in the space without disturbing the people in it, by gradually increasing the brightness of the luminaires.
At the same time, temperature sensors create the right working environment depending on the season, without creating dissatisfaction with extreme temperatures.
In addition, occupancy sensors cut off wasted energy in lighting and air conditioning if no people are detected, turning off lights and air conditioners at office level.
Finally, louvre assemblies located on the sides of the building allow light and heat to pass inside the building, as long as they do not adversely affect the operation of the offices.
