AUTOMATION INSTALLATIONS EIV/KNX

Our company deals with Home & Building Automation, having qualified personnel with certifications of organizations and major companies in the field of Automation.

Our long experience and the number of large and small projects have made us the main designers and installers of Building and Home Automation projects in Greece.

Below we list some of the services we can offer you, since the possibilities of systems and services are increasing day by day. The possibility of interconnecting different systems to achieve goals and evolving services is growing, giving us the opportunity to collaborate with you to create the Building-Home of your dreams.

Home & Building Automation (HEB/BBS)

Introduction

Modern buildings have an increasing number of electrical appliances and systems to serve the needs of the people who live or work in them. Consequently, the design of electrical installations in buildings is becoming more important and is constantly evolving. The emergence and proliferation of smart home technologies is one aspect of this evolution. There are two main factors driving the new technology:

The rise in living standards that creates – for an increasing number of consumers – new needs for comfort and quality conditions at work and at home.
The increase in economic and environmental costs from the consumption of natural energy sources, which requires the rational management and saving of all types of energy consumed. Thus, in recent years a new technology has been developed – the EIB / KNX system – which creates innovative comforts with smart and simple electrical installations, thus providing a complete solution to all the needs of each building. Starting from single-family homes, hotels, schools, to large office complexes. It is based on developments in information and communication technology, introducing a single control system through which all the individual parts that make up an electrical installation can communicate with each other. And of course it is adapted to the future needs and requirements of its users.

Typical controls of the electrical installation EIB/NFC The first thing that needs to be done is a detailed inventory of the automation needs that are considered necessary by the user and should include two things:

What exactly will be automated and
How this will be done.
In other words, the desired, automated functions are recorded, by area and generally for the entire installation:
The lighting system (interior and exterior) . Some possible scenarios that we can implement even with a simple switch (aller retour, commitateur, dimmer, timers, etc.) to control one or several luminaires from any point of our installation, are, for example:

i. Turn a light on and off at a certain time each day.

ii. To be switched on at sunset and switched off at dawn (based on the lighting of the outdoor environment).

iii. Participate in various lighting scenarios to create lighting intensity settings depending on the desired function (presentations, party mode, home cinema, etc.).

iv. To be activated by voice recognition.

v. Be activated by commands sent remotely, by telephone or internet.

vi. Activation of luminaires with presence detection (WC, corridor, staircase, etc.)

Roller blinds/blinds, awnings, curtains, to create ideal indoor conditions, but also automatic – safe functions to protect against adverse weather conditions. Control of electric shutters based on natural light and time (e.g. automatic shutdown of shutters after dusk as well as automatic shutdown or ramp-up at a scheduled time of day). The control can be done either locally or collectively from the corresponding switch or remote control or via telephone – internet. Heating, air conditioning and ventilation, in order to create conditions of comfort in the interior of the installation and at the same time to save energy through the rational operation of the heating and air conditioning system. The temperature can be controlled in any room of the installation, either as a whole or separately, depending on the time of day and the presence of people, and temperature limits can be set for each room independently.

The security systems, which have the ability to process surveillance signals of the installation (power failure, malfunction of the refrigerator, washing machine, etc.), with the installation of an alarm system, and fire safety systems with smoke detectors, sirens and fire alarm buttons in different areas of the building, to alert the user e.g. by telephone or with an audible indication. The security system can be combined with other alerting functions such as turning on security lighting and simultaneously flashing external lights to attract attention, shutting down fans, switching off the power supply, etc. The CCTV closed circuit surveillance by installing surveillance system, cameras, in the facility. Giving the ability to monitor our premises, from anywhere in the world via Web-Interface and full recording for the period of time we want.
Automatic garden watering , controlling it seasonally and based on weather conditions and anything else you can imagine ….

SECURITY SYSTEM

INTERIOR OF THE DWELLING

Covering the interior with magnetic contacts, motion detectors, crystal break detectors, smoke detectors, flood detectors, etc., ensures your safety, whether you are inside the house-building or outside.

AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE DWELLING

Covering the exterior with beams, infrared detectors, etc., ensures a perimeter coverage of the land and the building.

REMOTE MONITORING

Control of the alarm status and possibility of sending an arming or disarming command via telephone or internet

INTERCONNECTION WITH EIV/CNH

Interface with the automation system to activate lighting in case of alarm.

A typical alarm system usually consists of:

the Central Control Panel in which the programming and the possibility of creating zones is done,
the keyboard,
the sensors of various technologies, e.g,
1. Motion detectors (radar)
2. Magnetic contacts on doors, windows,
3. Glass breakage detectors,
4. Smoke detectors – fire safety light
5. Panic alarm button, either audible or silent panic
6. Security lighting
7. Cooling-heating (temperature) detector
8. Flood detector
9. Outdoor light barriers (photocells) beams-rays
10. Internal or external panic sirens
The interconnection of the individual devices of the alarm system is either wired (with the appropriate cable) or wireless.

Watch

IP CAMERAS

Cameras with built-in Web-interface for direct monitoring & recording on a PC, without the need for a recorder.

ANALOG CAMERAS

Cameras made with technology inferior to IP cameras, but with a wider range of products, lenses and sizes. Necessary to use a recorder for recording capability.

RECORDING – MONITORING

Through DVR recorders, giving the ability to record for as long as we wish, control the cameras by searching for a specific date & time.

REMOTE MONITORING

Via PC or Smartphone

INTERCONNECTION WITH EIV/CNH

To activate lighting in case of motion detection from a camera

A closed circuit television (CCTV) system is used for surveillance, for visual confirmation of alarms and for intruder detection.

A typical room surveillance system consists of cameras (indoor or outdoor) connected via the appropriate cable to a monitoring and recording system.

The interconnection of the individual cameras in an installation is either wired or wireless.

LOCAL or DISTRICTED CONTROL

Do you want to turn on the water heater or the heating and no one is in the house?. Connect remotely via the Internet (from a computer or mobile phone) to your home control centre, or if there is no Internet access, call your call centre and access any function of your smart home. (watch the Online DEMO on the main page)

Control your home locally in the home, via Touch Screens and Ipad.
